Adjust attends Mobile World Congress (MWC) Barcelona: What’s to come for mobile tech

This year’s Mobile World Congress (MWC) was bigger than ever, with nearly 90,000 attendees per day over the course of the four-day event in Barcelona. MWC is attended by the biggest mobile brands from around the world, flocking for the event’s big industry announcements, thought-leading speakers, and tech talks paving the way for the coming year. As a leading measurement and analytics suite, Adjust was no stranger to the event, hosting an exciting exhibition from February 27 through March 2, 2023.

MWC 2023 focused on five main mobile themes:

1. 5G acceleration: The growth of 5G devices.
2. Reality+: Immersive technology and innovations in the virtual world.
3. OpenNet: How open mobile networks are becoming more agile and futureproof.
4. FinTech: The finance revolution via NFTs, crypto, and blockchain.
5. Digital everything: New opportunities from expanding digital technologies.

Let’s take a look at what Adjust got up to over the course of the week.

Adjust hosted an open meeting space in Congress Square. Our meeting booth gave the team the opportunity to meet with Adjust clients, partners, and everyone interested in hearing about our exciting analytics suite to discuss what we’re working on, along with some exciting updates that are right around the corner. Many passers-by also stopped to find out more about Adjust over a coffee or a beer, keeping the booth busy for the duration of the week.

Alongside partners Snap and AppLovin, Adjust hosted Momentum Happy Hour at the exclusive Casa Fuster venue. Guests enjoyed the hospitality and plenty of local food and drinks. Poor weather may have moved party-goers indoors, but it didn’t stop the party. Snap brought an augmented reality mirror, which was very popular and provided lots of laughs through the night. A live performance from local jazz band Jamie Barna Swing Trio was followed by our excellent DJ.
