How to be an active LGBTQIA+ ally in the workplace and beyond
Micah Motta, Senior Content Writer, Adjust, Jun 21, 2022.
At Adjust, we stand in support of the LGBTQIA+ community and strive for continual growth in our allyship. This Pride Month, we decided to dig in and learn more about how to be an active ally in the workplace and in our everyday lives. The Human Rights Campaign defines an ally as a person “who is actively supportive of LGBTQ+ people. It encompasses straight and cisgender allies, as well as those within the LGBTQ+ community who support each other.”
We asked a few of our employees what LGBTQIA+ allyship means to them. Their answers inspire and encourage us to pursue strong allyship year-round.

We strive for allyship at Adjust
As an organization, we are proud to have an active LGBTQIA+ community and ally workforce. We are grateful for their collective knowledge and input here at Adjust, and we couldn't be happier to honor them this June.
This month, we’ve been thrilled to cheer on Sebastian Daly, who cycled in the AIDS/Lifecycle event to raise funds for the San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT Center.
Sebastian is head of our Diversity and Inclusion Committee, which we’re excited to watch grow in strength and numbers. And next month, look for those of us at our headquarters in Berlin as we participate in the upcoming Christopher Street Pride Parade.
As political icon, Harvey Milk said, “Hope will never be silent.” Therefore, we promise at Adjust to not be silent on LGBTQIA+ discrimination issues and to work toward strengthening our allyship. In addition, we are committed to continuing to ensure that our workplace is a safe and supportive place for ALL employees, including those of the LGBTQIA+ community. We are Pride proud year-round.
